In Lake of Bays, we value the natural vistas of our area, whether these are vistas are where we drive, swim, boat, live or work.  The heritage in the Township is a legacy of natural views, views we need to preserve, enhance, and restore where they may have been altered.

Scenery is the tourist attraction of our area.  For full-time and seasonal residents, as well as visitors to the area, a clean beautiful natural environment is most important.  We need to find opportunities to keep this fact forefront in our personal choices and in the planning tools that we use as a municipality.

We should be including the preservation of our night sky when considering natural vistas.  Education and awareness of the ways we can avoid adding light pollution to the night sky is integral.
